Your Voice and Prosperity ~ Part 1

Your Voice and Prosperity ~ Part 1

Money, success, relationships, health, intellectual growth and spirituality are interrelated – they are our inner and outer work at one and the same time.

To many women (and men) life seems like an either/or situation. You may dedicate your life to your career and loose your sense of joy and playfulness; you may devote your energy to your family and feel like there just isn’t enough time to exercise daily; and/or you may search and search for the “right” answer for your spirituality and forget that the answer resides right in front of you.

We are ready for something more ~ we are ready to live harmoniously, in balance, with all of the areas of our lives. Attaining balance and equilibrium does not need to be at odds as they contribute to one another.

I recently had a conversation with a loved one about the “reality” of our thoughts and prayers. We were watching a particular motivational speaker, on TV; I shared that I enjoyed listening to him and asked her what she thought of him. She mentioned that she used to listen to him frequently until it dawn on her that his typical message isn’t reality.

I probed further.

She disclosed that he introduces this idea to focus, pray and think about what you want and you will get it. She expressed that this pattern of thought can only cause disappointment. I asked further what she meant. My loved one stated, “Well, if you pray and think about what you want and you don’t get it, then you will continuously be disappointed.”

I didn’t have an opportunity to finish the conversation with her as we had to leave for an event. However, I am glad I had the opportunity to really sink my teeth in to this belief system and discover where I am in my own journey of thought.

It seemed foreign to me that someone else didn’t practice or believe in our power of thought. I also forgot that I have been on my particular spiritual path for over 10 years discovering this very philosophy: I have the power to create the life I really want. Thought is energy, and energy has the power to manifest. (Manifest means to produce, to cause to happen, to bring forth the world of ideas to the physical word of reality.)

If I am of God and this Universe, and God created me from mere thought ~ I am able to do the same and have the ability to create from that world of ideas.

Seems far fetched?

Since I relocated 22 drivable-hours away from my immediate family, it has been a challenge to visit as often as I would like. 3 years ago, I missed experiencing Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas in the same year, with my family, due to percieved financial challenges. I decided, on Christmas day, that somehow I was going to change this!

I sat down and wrote out in the present tense of what I saw as my ideal in traveling to see my family (yes this comes straight from my journal!), “I am visiting my family at least once every three months. We take family vacations together and I am financially able to do so.” I left it to the Universe and prayed that God would work it out.

July 2009, I accepted a full-time position with an airline carrier and coincidently, I am able to fly for free! Last weekend, I flew to St. Louis to share a family mini-vacation with my sister and her family and had the opportunity to connect with a long-time friend.

Luck? A fluke? A strange twist of fate?

Perhaps you could say yes.

However, I was specific ~ I consistently envisioned, through my eyes, jet setting across the country to spend time with my family and actually felt how it feels to be living in the joyful moment of sharing space with family.

I also had to take action: write down my vision; regularly envision my vision; wait for the opportunity to arise; and grabbed hold of the opportunity and took the necessary steps to accomplish my goal.

Our thoughts are a reflection of our belief system ~ What you believe is what you achieve. If there is a whisper of disappointment and doubt, God and the Universe grant you just that. “Ask and it shall be given unto you, Seek and you shall find…”

You deserve the life you envision. Your Voice is your empowerment in reaching your Vision~

Say it ~

I deserve the life I envision.

I deserve the life I envision!

I DESERVE THE LIFE I ENVISION!
